Intent Narrative and Program

Intent
I want to create spaces that are comfortable, functional and stylish. I want to take our selected color schemes and create a space that is soothing and feels like a space you would want to raise a child in. The goal in the common areas is to give one the feeling of wide open spaces with areas where the mothers can come together and bond with each other. In the private spaces the ceilings are lowered so that there is a feeling of safety and security. The private spaces would be the place where the mother and child bond with each other so it is important that all the needs of each being are met. I want the space to be modern in style but incorporate elements to make it feel like a house.
